The last thing you want is to be stuck with a question or problem and no one to turn to for help. Fortunately, Aura Wellness Center offers great customer service. Variety of Courses to Choose From

At Aura Wellness Center, there are many Yoga certification online courses to choose from. Each course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills you need to become a certified Yoga teacher. The course content varies depending on your chosen program, but most courses cover practical teaching skills, anatomy, physiology, philosophy, and ethics. You’ll also learn about different types of Yoga, such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, and Chair Yoga. Once you complete a course, you’ll be able to take the final exam and earn your certification.

Hatha Yoga Instructor

If you’re considering becoming a certified Yoga instructor, you may wonder what to expect in a Hatha Yoga Instructor Course. The course will cover the basic principles of Hatha Yoga, including history, philosophy, and physical techniques. You’ll learn how to properly execute and teach the various Yoga poses and modify them for different levels of students. The course will also cover pranayama (breath control) and meditation techniques. Upon completion of the course, you’ll be prepared to teach Hatha Yoga classes.

Hatha Yoga Teacher Overview

Hatha Yoga instructors should thoroughly understand student safety procedures, human anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology. They should be able to effectively communicate with their students and teach them the proper practice for each technique in the class. In addition, instructors should be familiar with modifications and be able to customize a class to fit the needs of their students.

Vinyasa Teacher Training

A Vinyasa Yoga certification online course will cover the basic principles of Yoga and how to apply them to a Vinyasa class. You will learn about the different types of Yoga poses and how to sequence them into a flowing class. You will also learn how to cue students and provide modifications. The course will also cover anatomy and physiology so you can understand how the body moves (transitions) into and out of Yoga poses. The first part of the course is usually dedicated to learning the theory behind Vinyasa Yoga. The second part of the course is focused on practical teaching methods. This includes how to teach a Vinyasa Yoga class, how to cue students, and how to make adjustments. The last part of the course is typically a practicum, where students have the opportunity to teach a Yoga class.

Vinyasa Teacher Tips

Vinyasa Yoga instructor courses cover a lot of information. There are many things that a Vinyasa Yoga instructor should know. They should be able to teach the proper techniques and alignment for each pose. They should also be aware of the different variations of each pose so that they can accommodate students of all levels. In addition, teachers should have a good understanding of the safe principles of Yoga movement and be able to incorporate them into their classes.

Restorative Yoga Teacher

Aura Wellness Center’s Restorative Yoga certification online program offers a comprehensive education in Restorative Yoga practice. Restorative Yoga is a division of Hatha Yoga and a therapeutic style that uses props to support the body in order to allow the practitioner to experience complete relaxation. The use of props such as blankets, chairs, blocks, bolsters, and straps allow the practitioner to completely relax the muscles and release all tension from the body. In addition to learning about the practice of Restorative Yoga, teacher interns will also learn how to teach Restorative Classes. Additionally, every Restorative teacher has a Hatha Yoga foundational base. A solid foundation helps our graduates develop creativity in helping students.

Tips for Restorative Yoga Teachers

A Restorative Yoga teacher should know how to properly support students in order to allow them to relax and restore. The teacher should be aware of different props that can be used to support the students and how to use them correctly. The teacher should also know how to give verbal and physical cues in order to help the students relax into the pose. Although postures are held longer, teachers should walk around the room just to make sure everyone is safe.

Yoga Nidra Teacher Training

The 30-hour online Yoga Nidra Teacher Course offered by Aura Wellness Center includes everything you need to get started teaching this powerful practice. The course covers the history and philosophy of Yoga Nidra and its benefits for both mind and body. You’ll learn how to lead a complete Yoga Nidra session, including all the necessary instructions and techniques. In addition, the course provides guidance on how to create a safe and supportive environment for your students. By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to teach Yoga Nidra to groups or individuals.

Tips for Teaching Yoga Nidra

In order to become certified to teach Yoga Nidra, there are a few things you should know. First, you should have a thorough understanding of the practice itself. This includes knowing the benefits and how to properly execute the different techniques. Second, you should be familiar with the various types of Yoga Nidra scripts and be able to select the one that’s right for your students. Finally, you’ll need to know how to lead a class and provide guidance to your students throughout the session.

Chair Yoga Instructor

A Chair Yoga certification online course provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach Chair Yoga classes. The course will cover topics such as anatomy and physiology, Chair Yoga poses and sequences, breathing techniques, and how to modify poses for different students. You will also learn how to create a safe and supportive environment for your students. After completing the certification, you can offer Chair yoga classes accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Chair Yoga Teacher Tips

When it comes to Chair Yoga instruction, there are certain things that all instructors should know. First and foremost, they should be aware of the different ways to use a chair and how to properly execute each technique. They should also be familiar with the modifications within Chair Yoga and any contraindications that might exist for certain students. Finally, Chair Yoga instructors should understand how to cue and progress students through a class so that everyone can safely and effectively participate.

Continuing Education Courses

There are many reasons to take continuing education courses, even if you’re not a Yoga instructor. Maybe you want to learn more about a different aspect of Yoga. Sometimes you feel a calling to deepen your teaching knowledge. Maybe you want to learn how to better teach Yoga to beginners. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of learning more about making classes accessible. Whatever your reasons, there are plenty of great online courses available. Aura Wellness Center’s continuing education courses are approved by Yoga Alliance, so you can be sure you’re getting credits that meet their approval. Marie and Paul Jerard are approved as Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Providers (YACEP).

Evolution of Yoga Education

The yoga teacher education landscape has changed dramatically in recent years. Online Yoga certification programs have become increasingly popular as they offer a more flexible and affordable option for those looking to become certified yoga instructors. In the past, most Yoga teacher training programs were held in person at studios, ashrams, health clubs, or retreat centers. However, with the rise of online learning, many programs are now offered entirely online. This offers a more convenient and flexible option for busy people who want to become certified Yoga instructors.

Meditation Teacher Course

Obviously, this is not a Yoga certification online course, but it is useful knowledge for Yoga teachers. You can expect to receive an in-depth education in an online meditation teacher course. Aura Wellness Center’s 60-hour meditation teacher course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach mindfulness meditation. The course will cover topics such as the history of meditation, how to meditate, the benefits of meditation, and how to lead a meditation class. You will also learn different meditation techniques within mindfulness meditation.

Meditation Teacher Tips

In order to be a successful meditation teacher, it is important to have a deep understanding of the practice. This includes knowing how to meditate effectively and the different techniques that can be used. It is also important to be able to guide students through the different stages of meditation and to be able to answer any questions they may have. Finally, it is also beneficial to have a strong understanding of the different philosophies behind meditation so that you can teach from a place of knowledge and experience.

Mail Order Courses

Twenty years ago, Aura Wellness Center was shipping courses out by hand. Today, we still also have traditional Yoga teacher training courses with all materials included. For example, the Yin, Power, Kids, and Hot Yoga teacher courses are shipped directly to you. There is no need for an online student dashboard because these are not modern-style Yoga certification online courses. However, if you want all the components shipped directly to you, we still have a lineup of courses in our store. Sometimes, students still want books, DVDs, and CDs. Therefore, we aim to please students who still want study materials in their hands.

Best Tips for Observing Students

If you’re getting your Yoga certification online, you’ll want to ensure you know the best tips for observing students. First, it’s important to be able to identify when a student is struggling. This can be difficult to do if you’re not watching your student. This happens when a teacher is demonstrating while taking his or her eyes off the students. Any time you lose eye contact is time to look around the room. Second, it’s important to watch for signs like body language, shaking, and facial expressions. Third, it’s important to be able to give clear and concise instructions. This can be difficult, but your students will eventually understand and precisely follow your instructions. Finally, it’s important to be patient with your students. They may not always get things right away, but if you’re patient and keep working with them, they’ll eventually get it.

Teach Your Students Where They Are

One of the challenges that many of our students face when trying Yoga for the first time is understanding what their teacher is saying. This is because Yoga can be difficult to understand if you’re not familiar with the terminology. There are now many online Yoga certification courses that offer explanations of all the poses and instructions. However, teachers have to translate to students in simplistic terms. This makes learning Yoga much more accessible, and they will be able to improve their practice quickly and easily.

Enhance Your Teaching Skills

If you are seeking to become a Yoga teacher, it is important that you hit the books every day. Even if you are an experienced teacher, there are always new techniques to learn and absorb. Independent research and education are the best ways to ensure that you are up-to-date on the latest trends in Yoga. This will also help you stand out from other teachers. In addition, continuing education courses can keep your skills sharp and help you stay ahead of the curve. As a result of breakthroughs in research, we are learning new ways to make our classes safer. Sometimes, people want to take one course and learn everything about Yoga in 200 hours or less. Truthfully, teaching is a journey of constant study.

Teach Students the Importance of Breath

Regarding Yoga certification, it is important for teachers to ensure their students are breathing properly. Proper breathing helps to calm the mind and body, improve concentration, and increase flexibility. It is also important for students who are new to the practice to get started correctly. Teachers can do a few things to help ensure their students are breathing correctly. They can introduce Yoga postures focusing on breath control and use verbal cues during class to remind students to take a deep breath before beginning a pose.

Realize You Can’t Teach Everyone

If you want to teach Yoga, you should realize that you can’t teach everyone. You need to be patient and adapt your teaching style to the individual student. If a student is not comfortable with certain poses, it’s important to help them find a new way to do the pose that is more comfortable for them. If a student is consistently not following your instruction, it may be best for both of you to move on and find someone who is more receptive. Your Yoga certification online cannot prepare you for every situation in the classroom, but we try.

Student Safety is Job One

It is always important to remember that student safety is job one. When you are teaching Yoga, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and keep students safe. Many things can go wrong while practicing yoga, and it is important to be prepared for any situation. Our classes often include safe stretching techniques, how to prevent injuries, and how to work around pre-existing injuries. We should also offer online resources to help students learn about Yoga safety. Ultimately, this knowledge always improves the safety of practice.

Honest Feedback Is a Two-Way Street

One of the best ways to improve your teaching skills is to get honest feedback from your students. Feedback is essential for improving your skills, and getting good feedback from students can be hard. However, if you’re willing to be open to feedback, you’ll be able to improve your classes quickly. Accepting feedback can be difficult for some teachers. By being open to feedback, you’ll be able to achieve rapid progress in your classes.

Giving Feedback

When you give feedback, be specific about what you want the student to do differently. Avoid giving general instructions or making sweeping statements. Instead, provide specific instructions that will help the student learn what they need to know. If you’re giving criticism, be clear and concise so that the student can understand why they are receiving feedback. Overall, it’s important to give honest and compassionate feedback to your students in order to improve their practice.

Create a Meaningful Experience for Students

When you’re teaching yoga classes, it’s important to create a meaningful experience for your students. This means creating an environment where they feel comfortable and safe. It also means being present with them during class and providing them with guidance and support. You can clearly and concisely explain your instructions, demonstrate the poses, and offer modifications as needed. You should also be available to answer any questions they may have.

Teach Your Students to Be Present For Practice

One of the most important things you can teach your students is how to be present for their practice. It is easy for students to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget to take time for themselves. If they are not present, they will not be able to fully reap the benefits of yoga. One way to help them be present is to have them focus on their breath. Have them notice the rise and fall of their chest and the sensation of air moving in and out of their nostrils. Another way to help them be present is to focus on a mantra or affirmation they can repeat to themselves.

Is Presence a Bunch of Fluff?

Class presence takes place on a mental, emotional, and physical level. In order to teach your students how to be present for yoga practice, it is important that you yourself are present. Modeling the behavior, you want to see in your students will help them understand what it means to be present. When you are talking to your students, make eye contact and be aware of your body language. Be sure to listen carefully to what they say and answer any questions they may have. If you can, try to avoid talking while the class is in session. If you need to give instructions, do so clearly and concisely. Remember that being present doesn’t mean being perfect – it just means being attentive and focused on the moment.

Your Energy Creates Inspiration

When you are filled with energy and enthusiasm for what you’re doing, it’s impossible not to be inspiring. If you’re naturally passionate about Yoga and helping others, getting your Yoga certification online is the perfect way to share your love of Yoga with the world. When you teach from a place of excitement and joy, your students will feel that energy and be inspired to practice Yoga themselves. Be aware of the energy you bring into the classroom. Your students will feed off your energy, so if you’re tired or bored, they’ll likely pick up on that. Instead, try to create an inspiring and uplifting environment for your students. Bring your best self to each class and let your positive energy shine through.

Listen and Learn From Your Students

As a Yoga instructor, staying open-minded and willing to learn from your students is important. Every class is an opportunity to grow as a teacher. The best Yoga teachers learn through practical experience. While you’re guiding your students through their practice, take time to listen to them and see how they’re responding to your instruction. If something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to make a change. Your students will appreciate your willingness to adapt and grow with them.

Foundation Before Innovation

It’s important to have a strong foundation in Yoga teaching before getting creative. That means taking a Yoga certification course online that covers all the basics. Once you’ve got that under your belt, you can start to branch out and add your own personal touches to your classes. Remember, though, that your students will be looking to you for guidance, so it’s important to make sure that you’re always staying true to the core principles of Yoga. Once you have a strong foundation, you can start to experiment and develop your own unique teaching methods. Remember to always keep the safety of your students in mind, and don’t lead them into anything risky.

Teach From Your Heart

If you’re passionate about Yoga and want to share your love of the practice with others, teaching is a great way to help others. With Yoga certification online, you can start your teaching journey without leaving the comfort of your home. But before you start sharing your knowledge with others, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, it’s important to teach from the heart. Share your personal experience and let your students know why you practice. This will help them connect with you and your teaching. Second, be patient. Not everyone will progress at the same pace, so it’s important to be understanding and accommodating. Finally, have fun. Yoga is supposed to be enjoyable, so make sure your classes reflect that.

Give Students the Complete Class Experience

When you’re teaching a yoga class, it’s important to give your students the complete experience. This means more than just leading them through the poses. It means creating an environment that is conducive to relaxation and focus. To do this, you’ll want to make sure the room is quiet and free of distractions. You’ll also want to set a calming mood with soft lighting and soothing music. These extra steps will ensure that your students have a positive and productive yoga experience. Taking a Yoga certification online course will ensure that you’re knowledgeable in all the techniques and can provide proper instruction.

Teach with Gratitude

When you teach yoga classes with gratitude, your students will feel your positive energy and be more likely to have a good experience. Make sure to give thanks to your students before and after class, as well as for the opportunity to share your love of yoga with them. In addition, be grateful for your own practice by taking the time to reflect on what you’ve learned and how it has helped you grow. With a positive attitude, you’ll be able to create an enjoyable and beneficial environment for everyone involved.

Yoga Certification Online – Teaching Pranayama

By Faye Martins

Foundational Yoga certification online courses always contain a section on pranayama. In fact, there are many benefits of pranayama. The most obvious benefit is that it helps to control the body’s breathing. This can have a calming effect on the body and mind and can help to control anxiety and stress levels. Breath control can also help to improve concentration and can be used as a tool to help with meditation. If we were to boil pranayama down into strict scientific terms, we could explain it as a method for regulating energy. While that description is fair, it does not fully explain how and why pranayama works.

Regulating Energy

One of the most important benefits is that it helps to control anxiety and stress. When you are anxious or stressed, your breathing becomes shallow and rapid. This can lead to a feeling of lightheadedness or dizziness. Breath control helps to regulate your breathing, which can help to reduce anxiety and stress levels. Additionally, pranayama is said to improve concentration and focus. When you can control your breathing, you can better focus on the present moment. This can be helpful in both yoga and meditation practice.

Teaching Calming Pranayama

There are many benefits to practicing yoga, including relaxation and improved breathing. If you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice or become a certified yoga teacher, learning pranayama, or yoga breathing techniques, is a great place to start. Pranayama can help to improve circulation, relieve stress and tension, and boost energy levels. There are many different pranayama techniques that you can learn, so it’s important to find one that resonates with you. Once you’ve mastered a few basic techniques, you can begin to incorporate them into your yoga practice or teaching.

Breathing and Sound

Practicing yoga has many benefits, including improved circulation, better breathing, and increased flexibility. One of the most important aspects of yoga is pranayama, or controlled breathing. There are many different techniques that can be used to improve your breathing, and one of the most effective is sound. Sound helps to focus the mind and slow down the breath. It can also help to open up the lungs and improve circulation. You will immediately notice a difference in your breathing when you practice yoga with sound.

Pranayama and Mantra

When you’re teaching pranayama, it’s important to give your students guidance on how to control their breath. One way to do this is by using a mantra. It can help to focus the mind and control the breath. There are many different mantras that can be used for pranayama. Some examples include “om,” “ah,” and “so ham.” Udgeeth pranayama is a common example of combining pranayama with Aum mantra.

About Balance

The word pranayama comes from the Sanskrit words “prana” and “Ayama,” which mean “life force” and “control,” respectively. There are many different types of pranayama, but all of them involve regulating the breath in some way. For example, one type of pranayama is Nadi Shodhana, which involves alternate nostril breathing. This type of breathing is said to be beneficial for both the mind and the body.

Dynamic Pranayama Techniques

Practicing yoga has many benefits, including improved flexibility, strength, and stamina. One of the most important benefits, however, is yoga’s effect on your breathing. Dynamic breathing techniques, such as those taught in yoga certification courses online, can help you to improve your lung capacity and control your breath. This can have a profound impact on your overall health, as well as your ability to manage stress.

Common Dynamic Pranayama Types

Breath of Fire, Kapalbhati, and Bhastrika are well-known forms of pranayama. Yet, they are not beginner-friendly. These techniques should be taught slowly and gradually. In some cases, medical conditions don’t mix with taxing forms of pranayama. For example, students with high blood pressure and heart problems should avoid these techniques. Ultimately, the pace of breathing should be slower for beginners. In fact, the amount of time per session should be held to a minimum.

Holistic Health System

Pranayama is said to be beneficial for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. It is believed to improve respiratory function, increase energy levels, and calm the mind. For those seeking a yoga certification online, learning pranayama is an important part of the curriculum. In fact, pranayama is a deep health maintenance system on its own. Truly, the more we maintain good health the fewer prescriptions and doctor visits we will experience.

Modern Yoga Instructor Certification

Much has changed as technology has integrated with modern teacher training. Yoga certification online courses typically include a module on daily health maintenance. Traditionally, this refers to the six shatkarmas (hygienic duties) listed and described within the “Hatha Yoga Pradipika.” These days, people want to know how to brush and floss their teeth properly, maintain healthy skin and hair, and exercise safely. It is important to learn about these things in order to keep your body healthy and prevent problems down the road. Therefore, I am not slighting the six traditional shatkarmas but making you aware of them.

Pranayama for Heart Health

Indeed, pranayama is an important part of yoga and can also be beneficial for heart health. After all, pranayama involves breathing exercises that help to regulate the breath and improve lung function. It can also help reduce stress and anxiety, leading to better heart health. I don’t want to create unrealistic expectations, but calming pranayama is for preventing any weakness of the heart. At the same time, calming pranayama in moderation is the safest path for our students.

Benefits of Slow Deep Breathing

Slow, deep breathing has many benefits. It can help to lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system. It is also an effective way to reduce stress and promote relaxation. You give your body a mini-vacation when practicing slow, deep breathing. It can also improve your circulation and help to detoxify your body. Slow deep breathing is an important part of yoga, which you can practice anywhere, at any time.

Cooling the Body

Sitali pranayama is a technique that helps to cool the body. It is done by rolling the tongue lengthwise into the shape of a tube. While your mouth is open, inhale. Then close the mouth and exhale slowly through your nose and out through your mouth. You should do this for at least one minute. You can also try it gradually for longer periods of time if you feel comfortable. In reality, the air’s temperature has not changed, but the temperature of the head becomes tolerable.

Dangers of Pranayama

As mentioned above, there are some risks associated with practicing pranayama, particularly for those who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, are at risk of a stroke, or have heart problems. It is important to talk to your doctor before beginning any yoga practice and to listen to your body during pranayama practice. If students feel any pain or discomfort, they stop immediately. Ultimately, we want to avoid any danger. Some people laugh about precautions and safety for “breathing.” Pranayama is not simply breathing. In fact, ratio and awareness are two factors that make the difference between pranayama and unfocused breathing.

Friction in Pranayama Practice

Most people don’t realize there can be much friction when practicing pranayama. There is internal movement when we practice breathwork. The most important thing for students to remember is to focus on the breath, not the movement. Inhale and exhale slowly and evenly. Don’t force the breath. If you find yourself getting tense, stop and take a few deep breaths. Relax the muscles in your face, jaw, and shoulders.

Pranayama for Emotional Flow

Controlled breathing is a powerful tool to alleviate anxiety. When we are anxious, our breath is often shallow and fast. This can lead to further anxiety and a feeling of being suffocated. Pranayama helps to slow the breath down and make it deeper. This sends a signal to the brain that we are not in danger and that we can relax. Over time, with regular practice, pranayama can help to reduce anxiety levels significantly. As a result, pranayama helps reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being. The main benefit of pranayama is that it helps to regulate the autonomic nervous system. This system controls the fight-or-flight response, which is responsible for the symptoms of anxiety. By practicing pranayama, you can help to calm the nervous system and reduce feelings of anxiety.

Understanding the Power of Pranayama

The power of pranayama, or yoga breathing, lies in its ability to calm the mind and ease the body into a state of relaxation. When we are stressed, our breath becomes shallow and erratic. This can lead to further stress and anxiety. However, we breathe deeply and slowly when we practice relaxing forms of pranayama. This calming effect on the mind and body helps us relax and let go of stress.

Enhance Your Academic Performance

Surely, any technique that can keep you calm under fire is good for academics and coping with exams. While there are many benefits to getting a yoga certification online, one of the most important is its impact on your academic performance. Studies have shown that practicing yoga can improve focus, concentration, and memory. It can also reduce stress and anxiety, which can lead to better grades. So getting a yoga certification is a great option if you’re looking for a way to boost your academic performance.

Yoga Certification Online – Teacher Tips

By Dr. Paul Jerard, E-RYT 500, YACEP

Teaching Yoga classes can be a rewarding experience, but it can be difficult to achieve the perfect class. Follow these tips to help you create the best classes possible. Firstly, make sure that your class is challenging yet fun. Too easy a class will not provide enough stimulation, while too hard a class can be frustrating for students. Find the right balance that challenges students while still being enjoyable. Secondly, choose your teaching style wisely. If you are a teacher with experience, you may prefer to lead from the front of the room.

Initial Stages

When choosing Yoga certification online, select the style that works best for you and your students. Structure your class appropriately. A well-structured class will have specific poses or sequences that students should follow in order to achieve the desired benefits of yoga. This will help ensure that everyone in the class is getting the most out of their practice. Encourage student participation by letting them know when they are performing well and when they need to adjust their practice. Feedback is an important part of learning and helps students grow.

Enter Class With a Constructive Intention

One of the great benefits of teaching Yoga is that it can be done with a constructive intention. Students in a class focused on yoga are learning how to use their bodies to support their overall well-being. This is an important lesson for children and adults, who can benefit from classes that focus on improving their strength, flexibility, and balance. Teaching Yoga with a constructive intention helps to create a safe environment for all students. By following the lesson plan correctly and paying attention to each student’s body, it is possible to avoid any injuries. If you are interested in teaching Yoga classes with a constructive intention, online certification programs may be the best option for you. These programs will help you learn about teaching techniques and how to create a safe environment for your students.

Teaching Experience Becomes Wisdom

The experience of teaching yoga can be invaluable when it comes to becoming a certified yoga teacher. Not only will this experience give you the knowledge to teach effectively, but it will also give you the wisdom to know when to step in and help a student when they are struggling. Additionally, being experienced in other areas of life can help you become a better teacher, as you can better relate different poses and teachings to real-life situations. With each class, teachers grow too. Yoga certification online sets the foundation for practical experience.

Cultivate Student Trust

One of the most important aspects of a successful yoga class is having students who trust their teacher. If students don’t trust their teacher, they won’t be able to focus on their practice and will eventually get discouraged. Creating a positive relationship from the start is important to build trust with your students. One way to do this is to provide clear and concise directions during class. You should also make sure to answer any questions your students have and be personable enough to connect with them. Doing these things will develop student trust and create a successful yoga class.

Your Mission is to Be a Safe Guide

As a Yoga teacher, your mission is to be a safe guide for your students. It is important that you understand the safety features of Yoga techniques in order to protect your students. Some of the riskiest aspects of Yoga are the joints used in poses. For example, the shoulder joint is one of the most commonly injured joints in the body. When students practice Shoulderstand, make sure that you are watching and guiding them. Of course, teachers demonstrate, but when we cannot see our students, they are at risk.

Within the Guidelines

In addition to teaching within safe guidelines, it is also important to be aware of your surroundings. Always be aware of potential obstacles in front and behind students. Keep your eyes on your students and stand up or walk around when needed. We want to create a confident atmosphere where each student safely learns something new in each lesson.

Understand Student Fears

Yoga students come from all walks of life with all sorts of fears. Some students are afraid of being in public spaces, while others are afraid of making mistakes. Understanding these fears and working to address them in class can help students feel more comfortable and relaxed. One way to do this is to provide constructive feedback during poses. When students know that you are aware of their movements and are there to help them, they will be less likely to feel embarrassed or fearful in class.

Be Authentic – Be Yourself

When you teach Yoga, it’s important to be authentic. This means being yourself and not trying to be someone else. If you try to be someone you’re not, the students will pick up on this, which will negatively affect their experience. Instead, be yourself and allow the students to see what makes you unique. This will create a positive learning environment for them.

  1. Of course Pranayam is one of the deepest aspects of any yoga session. Breathing is one thing which keeps us going. Pranayam, although it appears to be simple, is very complex and contains a storehouse of benefits for the human body system. Thank you for the yoga certification online programs you provide to the rest of us.
