1. Make sure a reputable organization accredits the course. There are many yoga teacher training programs out there, but not all of them are created equal. Do your research to ensure you’re getting a quality education that will lead to certification.
2. Choose a program that offers a comprehensive curriculum. You’ll want to ensure you’re getting all the information and tools you need to be a successful restorative yoga teacher. Look for courses that cover everything from anatomy and physiology to class planning and marketing your business.
3. Find a course that fits your schedule and learning style. With so many online courses, you shouldn’t have trouble finding one that meets your needs. Consider factors like length, format (e.g., video-based or text-based), and price before deciding.
4. Ask around for recommendations. If you know someone who’s already certified in restorative yoga, ask them for their opinion on which courses they thought were most helpful in their own training. Chances are they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.
